WWI Soldier in the Trenches
I went to a great workshop today on making and using reed pens. This one of the works that I did there to practice using the pens I made. It is inspired by a picture by George Gross. The color one is an exercise using a glass block in front of an object. In order to find abstract lines and hidden pictures. This is a self portrait in an abstraction. I am not completely satisfied with it, but was an interesting idea.
