SCBWI Conference in NYC

It felt totally amazing to look around the room and see several other people drawing during the meeting. I am usually the only one and people don't think I am paying attention, but drawing really helps me keep my focus.

Life Drawing

This is a watercolor I did of the two models that were at the first Dr. Sketchy, North Jersey event. This was back in January. I paint to slow for a 20 minute pose but a great time was had by all.

October Morning

Here is a picture of a neighbor walking her daughter to school. They just got a new puppy. As you can see he thinks he is walking them. Yes, I do live in a town in which people walk down the middle of the street and it is relatively safe. In fact we do not have sidewalks.
